We are delighted to invite you to the first chamber recital of our 2025-2026 season - this concert marks the opening of our 10th Season.
This wonderful evening of music represents an important international partnership between prodigiously talented musicians. We welcome: Özcan Ulucan (violin/viola), born in Bulgaria and now living in Turkey; Alexei Sarkissov (cello), born in Russia and now living in the UK; our own highly regarded Concert Master Emil Chakalov (violin), born in Bulgaria and now living in the UK; one of HPO's favourite artists Ayşen Ulucan (violin), born in Bulgaria and now living locally; together with our well-known local piano maestro, Francis Rayner.
We have selected an inspiring programme of music to begin the season and to enliven this exciting collaboration - glorious chamber works with plenty of rich history behind them.
